The first one [...]

Possibly Awesome 01

Okay, so I said I was going to try and start posting some of my short, test motion graphics creations.  Here’s the first installment of Possibly Awesome at the Twoandfour Blog. The inspiration came from this post at Greyscalegorilla.com.  The theme was “Balloons in Black and White.”  Of course, it had to be all done without [...] [Continue reading...]

Possibly Awesome.

This post over at greyscalegorilla.com has inspired me to exercise my creativity.  In many of his posts he encourages motion graphics and design professionals to take some time once every week or two and create something just for yourself. Walmart Trip in 10 pix.

I took a trip to Walmart this morning with Kate.  Here is a 10 pic photo journal of our trip taken with my cell phone. 1. You have to take the classic “before” photo first. 2. Kate manning the navigation seat.  “To the toys!” 3. The list.  Translation: What I’m SUPPOSED to adhere to. 4. Okay, not on the [...] [Continue reading...]

In the details.

I think claymation is fascinating.  Creating miniature characters and their fantasy environments with such attention to detail is just amazing. I recently read an article on Wired.com discussing how these maticulas artists come up with these tiny sets and props.  It’s a short breakdown of how they prepared for the film Coraline. Read the article here. [Continue reading...]
